Out and About in Ohio
Our three newest drives traverse the Midwestern state of Ohio, offering a kaleidoscope of history, culture and stunning natural beauty.
Invigorate your senses exploring the rugged Hocking Hills Scenic Byway, with dramatic rock formations, lush forest, waterfalls, and fun to drive curvy roads.
The Ohio River Scenic Byway explores Southern Ohio past and present, through the extraordinary murals of Steuben and Portsmouth, museums, Native American earthworks and stations important to the Underground Railroad.
The Ohio and Lake Erie Canalway was a vital link to the growth of Ohio and the nation in the mid 1800s. Today, this National Heritage Area seamlessly blends the big city attractions of Cleveland with charming communities and Amish Country. Get your recreation on at Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and walk or bike along the 100-mile Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath.
A Symphony of Water
Spring snowmelt creates peak waterfalls in May and June. We marvel at their beauty, join in a collective gasp at the surging plumes, simultaneously powerful, yet soothing. Here are a few of our favorite waterfall destinations.
Havasu Falls, AZ | Ithaca Falls, NY | Multnomah Falls, OR |
Sabbaday Falls, NH | Shoshone Falls, ID | Tuolumne Falls, CA |

Another milestone — and millions of miles!
In March, we celebrated 5 years of myscenicdrives.com. When we began with a simple passion to make road tripping easy and fun, we never imagined the community that would grow along with us. Thank you for being part of our journey, for allowing us to be a small part of your special moments and coveted leisure time. Wishing you happy and safe travels this summer!
