Give the Gift of Adventure!
Who’s on your gift list? Nature lover, hiker, bird-watcher, camper,
national park bucket-lister, road trip fanatic — The America the
Beautiful Annual Pass offers unlimited access for one year to all U.S.
National Parks, National Forests, National Wildlife Refuges, and sites
managed by the Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation and U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers. That’s over 2,000 sites!
It’s easy to order online. No name is associated with pass when it
ships. For the America the Beautiful Pass, the recipient simply signs
the pass on the back. (Bonus: two people can sign and use the pass and
they don’t even have to live in the same household).
We can ship to you — or directly to the recipient. We can also include a
gift card at no additional charge. Just type your message in the
“Special Request” area when ordering — or send us an email. Don’t forget
to let us know what holiday or celebration it’s for — Christmas,
Hanukah, Birthdays... we have cards for every theme.
Choose from America the Beautiful Annual Pass, or Pacific Northwest,
Southern California, Tonto, Coconino, and White Mountain National Forests.
#OptOutside was started by REI to encourage people to reconnect with the
outdoors — and with family and friends over the holidays instead of
shopping on Black Friday.
Many State and County Parks and National Forests are participating by
offering free entrance on Nov 23. 2018.
Check the list below to find a park near you. Please email us if you hear of other parks not
in this list. We’ll share that info on our Facebook and X pages.
And if you can’t make it to one of these parks — just take a walk around
your neighborhood!

with some 54 million Americans expected to travel more 50 miles. Please
pack your patience, slow down, and relax. With the frenzy of the holiday
season, remember to appreciate what you have, cherish those you care
about, and show kindness to all.
