Pioneer Park, formerly Alaskaland, has a terrific salmon bake and historic collections and arts and crafts in Gold Rush Town. The railcar used by President Warren Harding on his visit to the state in the 1920s is here as well as the riverboat S.S. Nenana, a National Historic Landmark. Shows are put on in the theater and there are shops to explore.
