Can I purchase the pass at the park?

National Parks with staffed entrances sell passes. For National Forests or other federal lands passes may be available at Forest Ranger stations and some local retail outlets. Purchasing online saves valuable time and allows you to be ready for every adventure, anytime. And at busy National Parks that have them, you can use the express lane for pass holders.

Can I use my pass immediately after purchase?

Each pass must be shipped to you to enjoy the benefits of using it. They are not printable and the receipt cannot be used as proof of purchase.

Can I download and print the Forest Passes?

No, forest passes are not available for printing and the receipt cannot be used as proof of purchase. Instead they are shipped to you.

Do National Parks require a reservation?

Some parks including Acadia, Glacier, Haleakala, Rocky Mountain, Yosemite, and Zion National Parks require advance reservations — even if you already have an America the Beautiful Pass. Check specific park websites for more information.

Do I need reservations even if I have a Pass?

Yes, National Parks which require reservations will require reservations even if you are a pass holder.

Will my name appear on the pass? Can I purchase a pass for someone else?

Your name will not appear on any of the passes we sell.

If you have purchased the America the Beautiful Pass, you will be required to sign the America the Beautiful Pass and at staffed sites, show a picture ID (such as a drivers license) upon entrance. Starting in 2024, the America the Beautiful Annual Pass only has one signature lines and can only be assigned to one individual.

Forest passes can easily be ordered as a gift or for someone else.

How do I show my pass at a site that doesn't have an entrance station?

At Federal recreation sites that don't have entrance stations you can display your pass by:

  • Placing the pass in the hangtag that comes with your pass and hanging it from the rearview mirror.
  • Or placing the pass on your dashboard with the signature side facing up.

If you don't have a free hangtag, simply ask for one next time you're at a staffed entrance gate.

Where is the email confirmation of my pass order?

If you did not receive an email confirmation of your order, please check your spam folder as it may have landed there. Alternatively, if you create a free account on myscenicdrives.com using the email address you used to make the purchase, you will be able to log into your account and see it there.

Which credit cards do you accept?

myscenicdrives.com accepts Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, and Apple Pay.

At this time, we only offer credit card processing and Apple Pay. Our online checkout process is completely safe and secure.

Do you charge sales tax?

We charge sales tax as required by law.

My credit card was declined. What should I do?

Please double check your Billing Address and your credit card number matches your credit card information exactly or contact your issuing bank for more information. If you are still having issues, simply contact us for assistance.

Do you offer International Shipping?

Yes! We offer great pricing on Fedex International Priority shipping. Passes are expected to arrive within 2-5 days.

When will my order ship?

Orders placed by 2pm Pacific on weekdays will usually ship the same day (not including Sundays and holidays). USPS Priority Mail Express and FedEx orders placed on Saturday must be placed by 10 AM Pacific. Orders after that will ship on the following shipping day.

Which holidays will affect my shipments?

The US Postal Service and FedEx both carry a similar holiday schedule and at checkout, we will indicate any upcoming holidays to keep in mind.

How long does it take to receive the pass? What shipping methods do you offer?

We offer the following services and approximate delivery time:

  • USPS First Class Mail • 2-9 days
  • USPS Priority Mail • 2-3 days
  • USPS Express Mail • Next Day Delivery to most locations (Estimate mentioned at Checkout)
  • FedEx Home Delivery: • 1-5 business days based on your location.
  • Other FedEx • Estimated Transit Times and Arrival Times are Provided at Checkout

I did not receive my order. What should I do?

We can work with USPS to locate missing orders. Please contact us by e-mail as soon as possible with any delivery issues. We cannot assist or replace passes if 30 days from the original order placement has passed. If the pass cannot be located and was not marked delivered by USPS, we will replace your pass.

If tracking shows your package was marked delivered but you did not receive it, we suggest contacting your local mail carrier or post office with your tracking number. If you ordered First Class Mail, your package will a 7 x 9 inch white flat cardboard mailer. We can work with USPS on your behalf to help locate missing packages, however if USPS indicates an order was delivered, but the item was not received by the customer, we cannot replace or refund the order.

If you have had issues with missing or stolen mail, and you would like to add signature confirmation (small additional fee), please contact us via email.

How much are shipping costs?

Shipping and handling charges are based on the items weight and the selected shipping service. The total shipping and handling charges will be displayed before you enter your credit card information.

I have an error in my address; how do I fix it?

Please contact us by e-mail and we can update the address before it ships.

If the item was shipped, we will charge another shipping and handling fee to send you the package as we are not responsible for typographical errors or omissions in the shipping address by customers.

Can I combine or change my orders?

Simply e-mail us and we will combine or make any changes to your unshipped orders.

Do I need an account?

No, you do not need an account on myscenicdrives.com to place an order. If you plan on making several purchases or wish to track your order, an account will save time.

Can I send an order as a gift?

Yes! Passes make a great gift for every occasion — perfect for outdoor lovers, hikers, families, national park enthusiasts, and for employee appreciation. If you are shipping directly to the gift recipient, we can include a personalized message at no charge. Simply fill out the gift section when ordering or send us an email.

Do I need to fill out the gift section?

No, the gift section is optional.

Do you send an order confirmation?

When you place an order or we ship an order, we will send you an e-mail from store@myscenicdrives.com. Please check your spam filters to ensure that this e-mail address is accepted. If you cannot find the e-mail, please contact us so that we can provide you with the confirmation.

Can I get an invoice? How do I print a receipt?

You can print an invoice by viewing your orders. You will need a free account with the same e-mail address you placed the order with.

What is your return or refund policy?

We strive to provide the best service possible. If you are not 100% satisfied, simply contact us and we’ll work with you to resolve problems and concerns.

I purchased a pass from you before; how can I reorder the same thing?

If you have an account or create one with the same e-mail address as the order was processed under, you can see your previous orders under your profile. Select the order and towards the bottom of the page, click on “Reorder These Items” which will add the items into your cart and on your way to checking out.

I have lost my America the Beautiful or other annual pass. What do I do?

Unfortunately the America the Beautiful and other Annual Passes on our site are not replaceable by us or any other entity. You will need to purchase a new one. To purchase them from us, check here.

How do I get a Senior National Parks Pass?

The America the Beautiful Senior Pass is not available via myscenicdrives.com. Annual or Lifetime Senior passes for those 62 and older can be purchased in person at a National Park, or online. For information, please visit here.

I have a disability; do I qualify for a discount?

A Lifetime America the Beautiful Access Pass is available to U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the United States that have been medically determined to have a permanent disability. This pass is not available via myscenicdrives.com. For information, please visit visit here.

Is there a military discount?

Current U.S. Military and their dependents are eligible for a free Annual America the Beautiful Pass. This pass is not available via myscenicdrives.com. For information, please visit here.

How do I get a Free Veterans National Parks Pass or Current Military Pass?

The America the Beautiful Lifetime Veteran’s Pass and the America the Beautiful Military Pass is not available via myscenicdrives.com.

In National Parks that charge an entrance fee, a veteran will need to present one of the following forms of identification where entrance fees are collected:

  • Department of Defense Identification Card (CAC Card)
  • Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC)
  • Veteran ID Card
  • Veterans designation on a state-issued U.S. driver’s license or identification card

Entrance includes all passengers in a personal vehicle at sites that charge a per vehicle fee — or up to four people (aged 16 and up) at sites that charge per person fee. Children 15 and under are always admitted free. Other adventures, such as camping and wilderness use, may require additional fees.

You may also order online with USGS to have it shipped by mail (there is a $10 charge for shipping). For information, please visit here.

How does a Gold Star Family get a Free Lifetime National Parks Pass?

The Lifetime Military Pass for Gold Star Families is not available via myscenicdrives.com.

You may obtain one free in person at most National Parks; we recommend you call in advance to ensure they have them in stock. Note you will need ID. Or order online with USGS to have it shipped by mail for a fee. For information, please visit here.

Can I use the America the Beautiful Annual Pass for an Adventure Pass?

Yes, the America the Beautiful Interagency Pass can be used at places that require an Adventure Pass.

Can I use the America the Beautiful Annual Pass for a Pacific Northwest Forest Pass?

Yes, the America the Beautiful Interagency Pass can be used at places that require a Pacific Northwest Forest Pass.

Can I use the America the Beautiful Annual Pass for a White Mountain National Forest Pass?

Can I use the America the Beautiful Annual Pass for at State Parks or for a Discovery Pass?

No, the America the Beautiful Interagency Pass is not valid for State Parks. A separate pass must be purchased for those.

How does the America the Beautiful Annual Pass work for Motorcycles?

Motorcycles are treated the same as passenger vehicles, so each motorcycle will be required to have a passholder and pass on board. One pass will allow in one motorcycle. Once you have your pass, stop in any National Park or National Forest Ranger Station with your America the Beautiful and Motorcycle Registration to get an America the Beautiful Annual Pass Decal if needed.

How does the America the Beautiful Annual Pass work for Bicycles?

The America the Beautiful Annual Pass allows entrance for the pass owner and 3 other bicyclists that arrive at the same time. Please check your specific destination as there may be differences as to how the pass is honored at different sites.

How do I display my pass in an open top vehicle or jeep?

For the Southern California National Forest Adventure Annual Pass — the entire pass is a sticker. If needed, you can purchase a 2nd Vehicle Pass for $5 so you have one that can stick to one vehicle — and one for use in any other vehicle.

For the America the Beautiful Annual Pass — a decal is available at no additional charge. Visit any National Park or National Forest Ranger Station with your America the Beautiful Pass, driver’s license, and vehicle registration. The name on all three documents must match. Decal will be marked with the same expiration date as the associated Annual Pass.
