Named after President Theodore Roosevelt, the Theodore Roosevelt Dam is responsible for most of the roads forming the Apache Trail. The dam itself is an architectural masterpiece, completed in 1911 and extended in the late 1990s. Roosevelt Lake is an ideal location for camping, boating, and fishing.
