Visit the Museum of the Central Sierra located in the headquarters of the Central Sierra Historical Society for exhibits on the area’s history. The Society is preserving the Pine Logging Camp and a 1912 caboose from the San Joaquin and Eastern Railroad. Experience the “Museum Without Walls”, an interesting series of lectures and field trips. The museum is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
