At the foot of Thimble Rock lie the ruins of Driggs Mansion. The Italian farm-style home was built between 1914 and 1918 for Colonel Lawrence La Tourette Driggs using the stones from the Mayflower Canyon in front of the home, one of the only stone homes in this area when completed. Today the home lies in ruins but the original architecture and materials are visible.
