Here, wildlife abounds with egrets, spoonbills, sandhill cranes, owl and osprey, as well as gopher tortoises and American alligators which can be observed on 15 miles of trails for hiking, cycling, and horseback riding. Launch your own kayak or canoe, or explore this unique habitat on a 2-hour kayak or canoe ranger-led tour every Fri. and Sat. at 8:30 — reservations required.
