Silver Beach County Park is a top pick for families, featuring a life-guarded swimming area, fishing, playground, volleyball courts, concessions and barrier-free walkway. Walk out on the pier for expansive views, stellar sunset watching and to take close up photos of the St. Joseph North Pier Lighthouse. Connecting many of the parks and beaches is the John and Dede Howard Family Recreational Trail. Just under 2 miles long, the paved trail is perfect for biking, walking and jogging.
