Kaaterskill Falls is the tallest two-tiered waterfall in New York State with a 260 foot drop-off. Two trails with a combined total of 1.8-miles round trip lead to both the top and bottom of Kaaterskill Falls. Wear good shoes and note the rocks can be slippery. The basin makes a great swimming hole. Take route 23A in Palenville to get there.
