At the Apostle Islands Maritime Cliffs State Natural Area, walk along Lakeshore Trail near Meyers Beach for views of the Sea Caves at Mawikwe Bay. Waves, wind, heat, ice, and time have sculpted dramatic vaulted chambers, arches, and pillars into the sandstone cliffs. In the distance you can see Eagle Island, Sand Island, and York Island.
