Saint Peter’s Dome is the highest point in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. The 3.6-mile rugged hike to the top rewards with panoramic views of Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands. The dome is actually exposed rock, the perfect place to enjoy a celebratory picnic. While here, don’t miss Morgan Falls, the second-highest waterfall in the state. The short gravel trail is accessible.
