On the west side of Malibu Creek Bridge, there are picnic tables and a natural area, excellent for bird watching. The Southern California saltwater marsh, known as the Malibu Lagoon is actually an estuary where Malibu Creek meets the Pacific Ocean. Explore stunning water and cliff views, pelicans, egrets, tide pools and more on the Malibu Beach Trail. There is a fee for vehicle parking, no charge to walk or bike in.
