A top the Showdown Mountain and above the Kings Hill Pass is the Porphyry Lookout which provides an amazing view of the surrounding peaks. On a clear day, you can see as far as the Absaroka Range to the south near Yellowstone National Park. The road to the viewpoint is open to cars during the summer months.
